
Attorney Christina E. James
A native Virginian, Christina James earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Yale University in 1999. Christina returned to Virginia and graduated from the Marshall Wythe School of Law of the College of William & Mary in 2002. She has been practicing law in the Hampton Roads area ever since.
Christina began clerking for the chief judge of the Norfolk Circuit Court. After working for the Public Defender’s Office in Norfolk, Virginia, Christina was an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in the City of Hampton for five years. She has been in private practice since 2008, representing clients in the state and federal courts of Virginia.

Attorney James L. Phillips, Jr.
Jim Phillips is a 2002 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his law degree from Campbell University in 2008. He has been practicing law in Hampton, Virginia specializing in criminal defense litigation, divorce law and juvenile practice. He also has case experience in personal injury, family and elder law, commercial matters, wills, trusts and estates.
He is licensed and admitted to practice in both Virginia and North Carolina's Supreme, Appellate, Circuit and General District Courts. He is also a member of the Virginia State Bar, Hampton Virginia Bar Association, The Hampton Rotary Club, and a member of the local YMCA Board of Management.
